An artist who’s dab­bled in writ­ing and mask-mak­ing over the years, An­gela has au­thored an art in­struc­tion book on mixed me­dia tech­niques and is an avid col­lec­tor of global sto­ries and his­to­ries.

“I’m drawn to sub­jects that com­bine beauty with an edge of dark­ness,” she says. “I want to cre­ate the kind of im­agery that stays in the backs of your eye­lids long af­ter you’re done look­ing and re­veals the facets of hu­man­ity’s imag­i­na­tion and moral­ity.”

1 En­chained Wind “A trib­ute piece I cre­ated for a good friend of mine. I chan­nelled her love of masks and whim­si­cal sub­jects to tell a small story through this un­named char­ac­ter.”

2 Oa thbound “Upon this dag­ger, he swore an oath to pro­tect the land and its peo­ple. Now, he must do so once more with­out fear! This im­age was In­spired by an orig­i­nal world I’m ex­plor­ing in art and words.”
