“I have an intense fear of the ocean. There’s no telling what’s below us when we sail, and it has filled my nightmares many times.”

2 Peacock Dragon

“I wanted to make things a little more 3D than usual, so parts of the tree were twisted wire, and the flowers were sculpted from thin foam. It made this piece a real challenge to frame.”

3 Slag

“Often, what a culture leaves behind is its gods… and its garbage. This is part of a series exploring the juxtaposition of spirituality and our discarded goods.”

4 Knowl edge

“This painting was also part of my What we Leave Behind series, and shows the embodiment of knowledge residing in a broken-down library.”
