StreetGuardian has launched the SG9665GM and SG9665GPS products with Full HD digital recording. The first model features 1080p recording with a field of view spanning 170 degrees for ultra wide coverage. The unit features an in-built 1.5-inch LCD screen for immediate ‘live’ monitoring or instant playback viewing. The unit also features a motion detector and G-sensor (useful for ‘unauthorised’ towing), a photographic capture mode and date/time stamping on recordings (Loop recording is available) for accurate referencing. There’s a microphone on-board and the unit charges via USB. An AV output allows connection to a larger display and the unit includes a 32GB SD memory card.

The SG9665GPS sports the same features as its sibling but adds GPS tracking which, for starters, allows turn-by-turn trip tracking via Google maps. Information available on tracking includes speed travelled, journey way-stops, distance travelled and much more. A GPS antenna is included in the package.
