Italian car audio specialist Hertz – part of the Elettromedia group of companies that most notably includes Audison – has released a new amplifier range featuring Class-D and Class-AB technology.
The new HCP amplifiers are reasonably compact and feature extruded aluminium heatsink/chassis for efficient heat transfer. This design also enhances the look of the amps which provide the impression of being built from a solid block.
Channel configurations are available to cater to any installation no matter the level of complexity. The range features two Class-D monoblocs (HCP 1D and HCP 1DK), two Class-AB stereo units (HCP 2 and HCP 2X), two 4-channel amplifiers with one each being Class-D and Class-AB (HCP 4 and HCP 4D) and finally a 5-channel Class-D amplifier (HCP 5D).
