CROWN Lager was last month named as the Official Beer of The Presidents Cup 2011.

As the official beer supplier, Crown Lager will be the preferred beer served in the marquees during the tournament and at all official Presidents Cup events.

Crown Lager will also host a sophisticated and decadent Presidential Suite marquee for invited guests throughout the duration of the tournament.

Paul Donaldson, Carlton United Brewers’ Acting Chief Marketing Officer, says it’s a hugely significant partnership for Crown Lager.

“What could be better than enjoying Australia’s finest beer, Crown Lager, while watching some of the world’s finest golf? We’re excited to be involved with The Presidents Cup 2011 and look forward to a fantastic tournament,” explains Donaldson.

Record crowds are expected during the week-long event, while nearly 600 million homes in 225 countries and territories will have access to the international telecast.

Matt Kamienski, Executive Director of The Presidents Cup 2011, said of the relationship: “ The Presidents Cup is a prestigious event and so Crown Lager is a natural fit as the official beer of this year’s tournament. We’re very happy to work with Crown Lager at The Presidents Cup 2011.”
