River­side Oaks takes Peo­ple’s Choice Award

CON­GRAT­U­LA­TIONS to River­side Oaks Golf Re­sort on winning the Peo­ple’s Choice Award in The 2011 Greater Syd­ney Tourism Awards.

The 2011 Greater Syd­ney Tourism Awards Gala Din­ner was held on the 28th July at the Water­view Func­tion Cen­tre in Bi­cen­ten­nial Park, where 42 fi­nal­ists awaited the an­nounce­ment for 2011. The win­ners were de­clared in­clud­ing River­side Oaks and cel­e­brated in an evening of fes­tiv­i­ties at­tended by 200 tourism in­dus­try rep­re­sen­ta­tives.

Scott Ranse, Gen­eral Man­ager of River­side Oaks in­di­cated that they were de­lighted to win the Peo­ple’s Choice Award as such an award is a strong in­di­ca­tion that the com­mu­nity sup­ports the Re­sort and all it has to of­fer.

“All the team at River­side Oaks are proud to be recog­nised and also proud to have such strong com­mu­nity sup­port. Our guests en­joy coming to River­side Oaks whether it be to play a round of golf, dine in the Club­house or stay in our ac­com­mo­da­tion and we plan to con­tinue to pro­vide such mem­o­rable ex­pe­ri­ences,” Scott said.

Less than an hour from Syd­ney, River­side Oaks is set in 587 acres of nat­u­ral bush land bor­dered by the Hawkes­bury River and wildlife re­serve.

To­day, River­side Oaks has a rep­u­ta­tion for qual­ity that at­tracts golfers and vis­i­tors from across Aus­tralia and around the world. The course lay­out is de­signed for golfers of all stan­dards of­fer­ing a chal­leng­ing, re­ward­ing game in a quiet nat­u­ral bush land set­ting.
