Wombat - endless Red Bulls Sticks - 0

This is where all the laughs are going to come from – Sticks and Wombat would have to be one of the funniest couples ever. The chemistry that exists between two mates is vastly different from the dynamic of the dating/married duo. The threshold for getting on each other’s nerves is a lot higher and the need for sensitivity goes out the window. It really makes for a more relaxed atmosphere and a funny experience for all of us who are watching.

The loveable larrikins struggled with the brief for the first few weeks. The blurred lines between Californian bungalow, Edwardian and Victorian styles threw the gents a curve ball and it took them a few gos before they started to hit the mark. Sticks loves his recycled timber and Wombat is a fiend for sustainable living (he actually lives ‘off the grid’ in a shipping container), but these attributes will be hard to inject into their house within such a specific brief and that one-week timeframe. That said, Sticks’s carpentry skills and the boys’ attitude will win Australia over in a heartbeat (almost as quickly as those ridiculously handsome and skilled brothers a few years back).
