Alvaro Morata

Inside Sport - - PUNTER’S CHANCE -

A man with a point to prove. A“er he played a major part in taking Juventus to the Champions League final as well as a domestic double in 2015, the Spaniard was taken back home by Real Madrid only to spend the next two seasons as understudy to Karim Benzema. It was obviously not enough for Morata, as he had ambitions to be the main marksman at a top club. He has a tough job at Chelsea replacing Diego Costa, who has scored 52 goals and won two league titles in three seasons, but whose relationship with manager Antonio Conte has completely broken. With regular football now a guarantee in west London, Morata should do some damage.
