Green Bay Packers

Inside Sport - - PUNTER’S CHANCE -

Green Bay can relate to how Atlanta is feeling – it was in the NFC championship game three seasons ago that the Packers lost a seemingly unlosable one to Sea le, and haven’t come as close to the Super Bowl since. In this 99th season of the league’s most admired li le franchise, there’s a sense the clock is ticking; that the Packers have to capitalise on the prime of an all-timer such as Aaron Rodgers (right). Green Bay played through a horror injury toll last season, and did about as well as could be expected a‡er losing six of its first ten. With a cleaner bill of health, a Super return is well in their sights – and with the game in neighbouring Minnesota this season, there will a stadium full of cheeseheads should the Pack make it.
