This season, it’s been the Los Angeles Dodgers, who went on an incredible tear since June and flirted with the majors’ single-season wins record. When LA added ace pitcher Yu Darvish (pictured above) from the Texas Rangers at the trade deadline, the dread thought chilled every other contender – it was going to be hard to win a series having to face Darvish as well as Clayton Kershaw a couple of times each. One hope for this postseason: a lile Yankees-Red Sox action, perhaps?
