Now that the Cubs have won a World Series, nothing is too improbable in baseball anymore. So entertain any possibility this MLB Play-offs

(from Oct 4) – including the likelihood that the best team trips up before the final stage. This season, it’s been the Los Angeles Dodgers, who went on an incredible tear since June and flirted with the majors’ single-season wins record. When LA added ace pitcher Yu Darvish (pictured above) from the Texas Rangers at the trade deadline, the dread thought chilled every other contender – it was going to be hard to win a series having to face Darvish as well as Clayton Kershaw a couple of times each. One hope for this postseason: a li›le Yankees-Red Sox action, perhaps?
