KRIS Martin, the Sun­shine Coast artist who vis­ited the re­gion last Au­gust, is head­ing back in June.

Kris will cre­ate large-scale wo­ven sculp­tures leading up to the Afloat com­mu­nity events in Bund­aberg and sur­round­ing re­gions.

Why not take part of this unique op­por­tu­nity? Each sculp­ture will be unique and sym­bolic to each re­gion, but Kris and the Afloat Cre­ative Re­gions team need your sup­port. Kris will be head­ing to: Bund­aberg: Ken­dalls Flat, June 11–12, 9am–noon, 1pm – 4pm.

Baf­fle Creek: Baf­fle Creek Sport and Re­cre­ation Grounds, June 18–19, 9am–noon, 1pm–4pm.

Mun­dub­bera: Mun­dub­bera His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, June 25–26, 9am–noon, 1pm–4pm.

PAST Trea­sures, an ex­hi­bi­tion by award-win­ning pho­tog­ra­pher, San­dra McEwan, will be on show at the Gin Gin Re­gional Court­house Gallery from June 3.

The ex­hi­bi­tion is a collection of pho­tos from around the Gran­ite Belt and from other ar­eas of Queens­land, and runs un­til June 28.

ROUND Pots, Square Holes was of­fi­cially opened by Jennifer McDuff on Tues­day.

The joint ex­hi­bi­tion be­tween the Childers Fire­house Pot­ters and the Bund­aberg Pot­tery Group show­cases the re­gion’s best and most loved ce­ramic artists.

The ma­jor­ity of the works on show are avail­able for pur­chase.

Round Pots, Square Holes is on show at the Childers Arts Space (Charts) un­til July 20.

THE ex­tremely pop­u­lar Por­traits of a Tea Cosy ex­hi­bi­tion comes to a close this Sun­day at the Bund­aberg Re­gional Art Gallery.

The in­spir­ing yarn bomb­ing project should also be wrap­ping up – or will it? The anony­mous knit­ters may de­cide to con­tinue to bring bright and colourful woollen items through the re­gion.

Re­cently both Booyal Cen­tral State School and Cordalba State School were yarn­bombed as part of the Knit­ting up a Storm project.

The Cordalba State School stu­dents were so ex­cited they made a yarn bomb­ing dis­play for the Childers Show.
