Yarn bomb fun

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

I AM privileged to be a teacher at both Cordalba and Booyal Central state schools and recently both of the schools were “yarn bombed” by members of K1P1 (for the uninitiated this stands for Knit One Pearl One). There has been lots of yarn bombing around the region by three different knitting groups to promote the Portraits of a Tea Cosy exhibition at BRAG. I am writing to say thank you to the Childers-based group K1P1 on behalf of the students and to acknowledge their toil in making art accessible and fun. The students really enjoyed the experience and loved visiting Place Stories website to see the photos and stories of all the other yarn bombings. FIONA DYER ISIS
