Juniors

Isis Town and Country - - Sport -

LAST weekend was the May monthly medal.

In the six-hole event, Cooper Rehbein had a very good round of 43, two under his handicap, to win the event with a net 22. Xavier Freeman was 2nd with a net 33. Cooper and Xavier have played very consistent golf all year. With the club championships fast approaching, it will be very interesting how things will pan out. In the 9-hole event, Wesley Hinton had a very good round of 62, net 26 to win from Kaitlyn Carige with a net 38. Wesley will lose at 3 shots from his handicap for this effort. In the 13-hole event, Zane Fitzgerald had a very good 69 to win the monthly medal. The 18-holers played with the seniors over the last two weekends. Blake Dowling winning the A-grade men’s with a score of four under for the four days.

Will Martell won the net for the juniors for the four days, with Sophie Martell and Travis Mittelheuser playing well on the last two days.

Next weekend will be a stroke round with 13 and 9 holers starting at 7am and the 6-holers starting at 7.30.

Some of our juniors will travel to Yeppoon to compete in the winter classic over three days. Best of luck to those that are travelling.
