THE single stableford competition saw some fine golf, especially by A Division players, with Phil Luckett recording 40 points and a hint of braking nearing the round’s end, to be the overall winner, with Paul McCarragher on 38 the runner-up.
Col Dennett was first runner-up on 36 on a countback from Michael Stanton, second runner-up. Neil Rieck scored 19 points to win the best nine holes.
In B Division Sue Long won with 34 points from Rae McCliskie on 33, runner-up on a countback from Joy Cartner. Best nine holes went to Len Stallard on 21 points. Approaches were won by Michael Stanton for the men and Marg Dennett for the women.
Chook run winners were: Len Stallard (31), Phil Luckett (31), Paul McCarragher (32), Michael Stanton, Keith Rule and Sue Long (34).
