A son’s dance of devotion for frail mother

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - By Loretta Tarda

Devoted Son I saw this dear old lady, dancing with her son.

The bond they shared was beautiful, slowly moving together as one.

Such unconditional love to see, as he held her in his arms.

Her heavenly gaze into his eyes, told the story of those gracious charms.

She must have loved to dance, way back in her earlier years,

And seeing this very special moment, almost brought me to tears.

This darling mother comes to watch, as all the couples dance.

With this brief thoughtful gesture, now was her wonderful chance.

As he gently moved her frail body around, I thought, how rare is this kind of devotion to be found?
