Dans to teach horsemanship

Isis Town and Country - - NEWS -

IF YOU’RE a horse lover, chances are you’ve heard of Double Dan Horsemanship.

The duo, made up of horse experts Dan Steers and Dan James, has quickly become a household name in the equine industry for their horsemanship and farrier skills.

The pair has been noted for performing at every major royal show in Australia and equine events in the United States, and has been a crowd favourite in the opening ceremonies of the World Equestrian Games, Australia’s Got Talent, Australian National Cutting Horse Futurities, and Equine Affaire.

Now they’re sharing their skills with the nation and are headed our way.

The Sunrise Quarter Horse Stud in Cordalba will host a Double Dan Horsemanship clinic this weekend.

The boys will show off their talents and equip riders of all skill levels with training tools over the two-day workshop.

The clinic will feature ground control and body-control techniques.

Sharon Dickson of Sunrise Quarter Horse Stud said she was looking forward to the event and hoped the local community would take the opportunity to get some tips from the experts.

Places are filling up fast, but fence-sitting positions are still available.
