CHILDREN are bound to be enthralled by the activities available at this year’s festival.

Linsey Pollak’s show “Live and Loopy” featuring the Rubber Glove Bagpipes and the Carrot Clarinet will keep the whole family entertained when he appears on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

And thanks to the team at McDonald’s Childers, families can experience a special appearance from Ronald McDonald and friends.

Ronald and his friends Grimace, Birdie and Hamburglar will perform on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, bringing magic, dancing and singing to the young and young at heart.

McDonald’s Childers licensee Craig Manley said he was excited to be able to give back to the region, supporting the Childers Festival, and bringing the Ronald and Friends show to the region.

“This allows us a chance to return the support to the community. It’s a privilege to contribute to, and be part of, the Childers community,” he said.

The big festival day is on Sunday, with Pirate Pete sailing around and entertaining on Stage Four.

Don’t miss the RSPCA Queensland Education Mobile unit which will be positioned near the Main Stage in Crescent St.

This state-of-the-art classroom on wheels offers exciting multimedia stations.
