Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

WE HAVE a new restaurant in town in the Woolies complex. Great food, great service. Thumbs up to the lady who serves coffee at the caravan at the RSL, nice coffee, always hot. Did everyone enjoy the Commonwealth Games? I did, the comradery between the nations was great. Absolutely bloody fantastical. There’s a word for Jack, the ‘world according to Jack’. I do love Jack’s columns, don’t stop writing Jack. But all in all the games were great, as I was at home sick I was able to watch most of it. Just to see those young people get out there and do the best that they could, win or lose, at least they gave it all for their country, and no matter where they came from they can all use the old adage – “We done us proud”. Congratulations to them all.
