THE Au­gust round of Chip and Putt was played this week­end with some very close out­comes and some very good scores be­ing carded.

In the six hole divi­sion Xavier Free­man con­tin­ued his good run of form to win with a nice score of 76 from Cooper Re­hbein on 88. In the 9 hole divi­sion Cooper Burns con­tin­ues to play well, he had a good score of 69 just enough to beat Kate­lyn Carige with a 70.

In the 13 hole event Cur­tis Fredrik­sen and Zane Fitzgerald con­tin­ued on their re­cent close run of re­sults with Zane win­ning with a very good 59 from Cur­tis with a 60.

Next week will be the Au­gust Monthly Medal on Satur­day with Sun­day be­ing the Wide Bay Ju­nior Open and Closed event to be held at Bund­aberg Golf course we have 11 ju­niors com­pet­ing in this event. Last week Travis Mit­tel­heuser trav­elled to Her­vey Bay to play in their big Pro-Am event from all re­ports he played well and en­joyed him­self im­mensely.

Next Satur­day play starts at 7am for the 13 holers and 7.30am for the six and 9 holers. See you there.
