IT HAS been a busy time for the TSKF Childers members.

Members recently attended the TSKFA Queensland titles held at Mt Gravatt Youth and Recreation Centre in Brisbane in July.

Childers club members participated in a three-day training seminar held by Professor Shunsuke Takahashi (OAM) 8th Dan, visiting from Japan, which was followed by a day of competition.

Grading results were impressive, with the local club gaining two new black belts in Thomas Green and Roger Greathead.

The club is planning to hold a self-defence course in October for women older than 15 years.

Members are also planning to travel to Rockhampton, Lismore and Brisbane to enter into regional competitions in those centres.

More information on the self-defence course will follow.
