Cadets see jaws of life in ac­tion

NIGHT TO RE­MEM­BER: PCYC Emer­gency Ser­vice cadets had front row seats as the Childers Ur­ban Fire Bri­gade opened up a wrecked ve­hi­cle us­ing spe­cialised equip­ment in­clud­ing the Jaws of Life as part of a train­ing ses­sion last Wed­nes­day night. Curl San­ta­ca­te­rina, cap­tain of the Childers Ur­ban Fire Bri­gade, was happy to de­scribe the process in de­tail to the cadets as they watched the bri­gade crew break the ve­hi­cle open ef­fi­ciently and ef­fort­lessly.
