BUCKLE up and prepare to be entertained as this year’s Apple Tree Creek Rodeo.
This year the rodeo promises to be even bigger and better, with the event attracting top riders from across the country.
From barrel races to bull riders, there’s something for everyone at the familyfriendly event.
Rodeo sub-committee chair Doug Schofield said it was not to be missed.
“You will see some of the top bucking stock in Australia and some of the top riders,” he said.
“There will be three to four hours of non-stop action. “It’s a great family night.” Joining the lengthy list of elite riders this year is renowned bull rider Brett Cross, saddle bronc rider Dale Bourgoure and Australian champions Shane Kenny and Shane Iker.
“The best of the best in Australia are coming,” Mr Schofield said.
“We get something like 100–120 competitors.”
While the committee has secured some sponsors, Mr Schofield said they were looking for more.
“It’s a great venue. It’s great exposure for your business,” he said.
Anyone interested should phone Mr Schofield on 0417 628 656.
