“Set among the macadamia groves, you can share a picnic basket for two on your own personal blanket and enjoy some local entertainment as you feast on the local produce,” Cr Peters said.

“It’s hard to imagine a better way to celebrate what makes our region so special.”

Cr Peters said she was pleased to announce Bundaberg Brewed Drinks as the major sponsor of the event.

“As one of our most iconic Bundaberg businesses, there are not many that would be better suited to partner with us in an event such as this.

“Bundaberg Brewed Drinks is an internationally recognised brand which showcases the quality of product our region is capable of.”
