Deaths prompt plea for safety

Isis Town and Country - - OPINION - Melinda Bradford Reporter melinda.bradford@isistcnews.com.au

I’M not usually one to get upset but, after recent fatalities on our roads, quite frankly I’m appalled.

It’s an understatement to say it’s not pleasant to hear reports of these tragic accidents, see photos of the carnage, or speak to the families whose lives have been torn apart.

Last week’s double fatality took the regional road toll to 15 for this year alone. That’s 15 lives that have been unnecessarily cut short, which has caused an immeasurable amount of pain for the victims’ families and friends.

When is the message going to sink in?

Everyone has a responsibility to drive safely on our roads.
