ANOTHER day of threatening rain drew a smaller number than usual with the windy conditions making scoring more difficult for most, with only one player breaking par on the day.

Two divisions combining men and women competed In the IGA sponsored single stableford event.

In A division, Norm Plath’s 34 points were enough to win from Keith Rule on 33, with Cynthia Draper winning the best nine holes scoring 17 points.

In B Division Larry Pershouse had the score of the day with 38 points, well ahead of Mark McAulay on 32, with Ken Albion’s 17 points winning him the best nine.

Mark won the nearest the pin on 1 and 10, while Cynthia won the combined approach on the same hole.

This Saturday will be a club sponsored stableford fourball with a secret partner, so come along play your best and hope your partner does the same.
