Fete of­fers fun for all

ARE you look­ing for some­thing to do on Fri­days?

Why not support a lo­cal school and have some fam­ily fun at the same time?

St Joseph’s Catholic Pri­mary School will hold a school fete to­mor­row.

In­spired by the vi­sion of A Con­nected Com­mu­nity, the fete’s aim is to build com­mu­nity, and will in­clude many com­mu­nity groups host­ing a va­ri­ety stalls.

The school’s prin­ci­pal, John Hin­ton, in­vited the com­mu­nity along.

“We have a school we are proud of and want to share with our wider com­mu­nity ... the en­tire Childers com­mu­nity is wel­come,” Mr

Hin­ton said.

He said there would be kids’ rides, per­for­mances, live mu­sic, a bar with NRL games shown, and a range of food.

The fete will be held from 5pm to 9pm.
