The Code

Isis Town and Country - - Television -

Sunday, ABC, 8.30pm

The likes of The Hour and House of Cards haveave typically been the go-to series for political thrillers, but they’ve now got some competition in Australian TV. The Code follows the story of struggling journo Ned Banks (Dan Spielman) who, with the help of his brother Jesse (Ashley Zukerman), uncovers a video of an accident at a classified government research facility. What follows is an explosive powerplay that reaches through the political ranks to the prime minister, whose staff scramble to keep the accident under wraps. With an allstar cast including David Wenham (right), Lucy Lawless, Dan Wyllie and Aaron Pedersen, thisis is drama of the highest order.
