Don’t run when you see a Devil
THERE is no doubt the Isis Devils performed one of the most stirring comebacks in the 2014 Bundaberg rugby league season.
In the grand final the Devils came back from a 30-6 deficit to be within two points (30-28) ofWests before losing 42-28.
And in an age where loyalty is questioned and doubts are raised on whether winning and losing means something to the players, the tears in the eyes of the Devils proved both points are wrong. These boys love their club.
When you see one of the players in the street, don’t be worried you might bring up bad memories if you talk about the game, give them a pat on the back and tell them how proud you are and that you can’t wait for the 2015 BRL season.
