Glad to be here, in Isis

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Matthew McInerney Reporter matthew.mciner

WHEN I broke the news to friends, family and colleagues I was leaving town to join Isis Town and Country, you can work out at which point in the sentence people stopped listening.

The jokers came out of the woodwork to show off their Photoshop skills and I received more than one photo with an AK-47 superimposed into my hands.

I laughed it off at the time, but since moving up over the weekend I have thought about the potential impacts a little more.

How does the name clash affect local businesses? More on that later. For now, I’m excited to have the opportunity to share your stories and enjoy everything Isis has to offer.

Feel free to visit the office or stop me in the streets for a chat – I can’t wait.
