Throw­ing another shrimp on the bar­bie says a lot more about Aus­tralia’s love af­fair with seafood than a Paul Ho­gan com­mer­cial ever could. We love it fresh. We love it cheap. We love lots of it. But in this eye-open­ing doc­u­men­tary, Gourmet Farmer’s Matthew Evans (left) sets out to dis­cover ex­actly where our most popular seafood comes from and he un­earths a fishy tale or two. Tonight, Evans heads to Thai­land to see how our de­sire for cheap prawns is de­stroy­ing Asia’s oceans. Then, after dis­cov­er­ing how lit­tle we are told about where our seafood comes from, he launches a cam­paign for bet­ter la­belling.
