Annabel Crabb (right) is no stranger to asking tough questions of our country’s leaders, but in this show, she moves beyond the sound bite to try to understand what elements make up the Australian politician. Inviting herself into their homes, Crabb makes sure they are comfortable and, in getting them to cook their favourite dish for her, perhaps gets them distracted enough to really talk about what’s going on beyond party lines. Tonight, Federal Opposition Leader Bill Shorten opens up his home and, with careful supervision from wife Chloe, whips up a ratatouille. le. Shorten speaks of his influences and inspiration which makes for some fascinating insights.
