Juniors show seniors the way

Isis Town and Country - - Sport -

ISIS Junior cricketers have continued their superb run on the field with wins to both sides.

Green did what the senior side couldn’t and beat Across The Waves, while Isis White did the same to Norths.

Green batted first and superb knocks from Rhys Felgate (32), Bryden Blair (30) and Jarrod Lyndon (19) propelled the side to a total of 123.

Jayden Santacaterina was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with figures of 1-3 from his two overs, while Felgate topped off a an all-round quality performace by taking 2-6 with the ball.

A superb team performance in the field saw the team combine for five run outs, which helped restrict ATW to just 73.

Isis White enjoyed a 43-run victory against Norths.

Isis won the toss and elected to bat, with Jackson Rehbein (30) and Zak Tomlionson (21) leading the way as White scored 92.

James Harney (14) was another strog presence at the crease, though it was calling and running between the wickets that was most impressive.
