Dancers show RAW talent

Isis Town and Country - - Life -

ABOUT 80 participants aged between five and 60 took advantage of a workshop run by one of Brisbane’s premier dance companies.

RAW Dance Company stopped by Childers last week for the second time to run an event for the United Dance Workshop, an organisation run by Incandescent Dance Studio’s Michelle Brumwell.

RAW instructors TJ, Rachel and Ella were blown away by attendees and said it was “unusual” to see “so much potential and developing talent in one area”.

Mrs Brumwell said the dance company would return next year.

“Keep supporting these events to ensure these kinds of cultural opportunities can exist in our community,” she said.

United Dance Workshop organisers thanked all participants and local businesses for their support.
