ISIS Golf Club is one of hundreds of clubs across the country to participate in this week’s Play Golf Week.

Isis Golf Club president Ken Albion said there were three opportunities for players to get involved, with this week’s activities free of charge to new golfers.

The Ladies’ Bring a Friend Day will be held today, where female members are encouraged to bring a friend or two to the course who may not have played before.

“On Saturday morning we’re encouraging the juniors to do the same,” Albion said.

Local activities will finish on Sunday with a come and try day.

Albion said anyone could play on the day, with newcomers paired with more experienced golfers in a three-person ambrose event.
