Free t-shirts cel­e­brate Ki­raly art

AILSA Koloi and San­dra Sul­li­van, two of the ex­hibit­ing artists at the State of the Art 14 ex­hi­bi­tion at Childers Art Space, will talk at a spe­cial event to help cel­e­brate the ex­hi­bi­tion’s open­ing in Jan­uary.

A bus has been ar­ranged to trans­port guests to van Cootens Drap­ery in Howard to view the quilts and mer­chan­dise.

Tick­ets for the brunch and bus trip will be on sale for $10 a head.

Revo­lu­tion, by emerg­ing lo­cal artist Jeremy Ki­raly, is now on show at Gallery Two at the Bund­aberg Re­gional Art Gallery, with the of­fi­cial open­ing tak­ing place on Fri­day, De­cem­ber 5.

Revo­lu­tion ex­plores el­e­ments that re­volve around hu­man evo­lu­tion and the ex­pan­sion of con­scious­ness.

To cel­e­brate the open­ing of Revo­lu­tion, Ki­raly and the Bund­aberg Re­gional Gal­leries have pro­duced a limited run of hand-printed t-shirts that will be given away dur­ing the lead-up to the open­ing.

The first reader to come

Revo­lu­tion ex­plores el­e­ments that re­volve around hu­man evo­lu­tion and the ex­pan­sion of con­scious­ness.

in to CHARTS to­day and men­tion “Revo­lu­tion” will be the lucky win­ner of a hand-printed t-shirt.

Lo­cal artist Mar­i­lyn Mur­ray will dis­play her art in the up­com­ing ex­hi­bi­tion, Home is Where the Heart is, at Gayn­dah Art Gallery from Jan­uary 7 to March 1.

This ex­hi­bi­tion ex­plores all def­i­ni­tions of home, from the lit­tle fam­ily of swans in a Gympie park to the view from her back ve­randa in Childers.

Mar­i­lyn feels the amaz­ing land­scapes and wildlife of this unique land al­ways speak to her of home.
