Recorder joins Isis Town and Country

Isis Town and Country - - News -

YOU might have noticed a slight change to the Town and Country masthead this week.

The Kolan Recorder is now incorporated within the Town and Country, with special Kolan news pages.

NewsMail editor Liz Carson said while it’s unfortunate that the Kolan Recorder will no longer be a stand alone paper, there were many benefits for Gin Gin readers with their news being published weekly.

“Instead of waiting a month to get your local news it will be much more timely,” Ms Carson said.

“We know there is a lot happening in Gin Gin and it’ll be great to tell people sooner.”

Isis Town and Country reporter Matthew McInerney will expand his coverage to include the readership of the Kolan Recorder.

“Matt has established a strong contact base in the Childers region already, and I expect the same to happen with Gin Gin,” Ms Carson said.
