THE driv­ers of two ve­hi­cles in­volved in a traf­fic crash be­tween a ute and a B-dou­ble truck at Ap­ple Tree Creek have been is­sued in­fringe­ment no­tices fol­low­ing the early morn­ing in­ci­dent. Childers po­lice were called to the crash at 4.15am on Wed­nes­day at the in­ter­sec­tion of the Isis Hwy and the Bruce Hwy. No one was in­jured but both ve­hi­cles were dam­aged and had to be towed from the scene. A po­lice spokes­woman said the 43-year-old driver of the white Toy­ota Hilux was is­sued a ticket for fail­ing to give way while do­ing a u-turn, while the 65-year-old truck driver was is­sues a no­tice for hav­ing an un­reg­is­tered trailer.
