It’s easy to forget just how vast our countryuntry is. The enormous Outback is home to more than 90 million sheep and cattle. But there is a problem, many of the men who worked the harsh and unforgiving land have moved on, be it to our expanding cities, to take advantage of our mining boom, or other opportunities. This series follows five wannabe jillaroos as they are pushed to the limit to find out if they can cut it in a historically male-dominated world. Among them iss Tessa (right), a young single mum trying build a new life for her and her son. Putting them through their paces is horse master Bill Willoughby, a man whose wit is as dry as the soil.
