Pink takes over green in fun clash

Isis Town and Country - - Kolan News -

GIN GIN bowlers donned pink and enjoyed a fun day on the greens at the club’s breast cancer awareness day.

Not even country towns like Gin Gin are exempt from these insidious diseases.

Everyone “knows someone” and Gin Gin bowlers are no exception.

One player went so far as to bowl with a set of beautiful pink bowls he purchased in support of breast cancer awareness.

This popular bowler unfortunately cannot hide his errors on the green, as the bowls are highly visible.

The raffles were popular and afternoon tea was sorely needed after a hot game of bowls.

The club will host a “make a wish” fundraising day on Sunday, February 22, and non-bowlers are invited to participate in what should be a terrific day.
