ISIS District State High School’s leaders for 2015 were formally introduced at the schools Investiture Ceremony last week.

Held on February 17, Isis High’s school and house captains and ambassadors were acknowledged in the ceremony, which featured several guest speakers.

Principal Brett Kavanagh compared elements of the students’ journey through secondary school life, with a particular focus on goal-setting, as akin to that of how motorists use a GPS.

He said students know their starting point and should set a clear goal or destination. Once set, the school can help students navigate their way through high school and achieve.

The Strings Group played several pieces throughout the ceremony, while Cr Tony Ricciardi spoke about leadership.
