Sugar Dad­dies to host over-35 rugby car­ni­val

ISIS Sugar Dad­dies will host theWide Bay over-35 rugby union car­ni­val for the first time on Satur­day.

Childers Show­grounds will host Golden Oldies rugby teams from across Queens­land, with teams from Bris­bane, Con­damine, Sun­shine Coast and Glad­stone join­ingWide Bay sides. Team and player reg­is­tra­tion will be held at the field from 2pm, with the open­ing cer­e­mony sched­uled to start at 2.45pm.

Round-robin games will start at 3pm and run un­til pre­sen­ta­tions at 7.30pm.

More than 140 play­ers are ex­pected.


GOLD STAN­DARD: Isis Sugar Dad­dies, Bund­aberg Rum Ruck­ers, Her­vey Bay Bats, Glad­stone Goats, Sun­ny­bank Puf­fin Dragons (Bris­bane), Easts Tooth­less Tigers (Bris­bane), Pine Rivers Pen­sion­ers (Nth Bris­bane), Thirsty Old Li­ons (Sun­shine Coast) and Con­damine Cods will all com­pete.
