We need to unite for march

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Matthew McInerney Reporter matthew.mcinerney@apn.com.au

THE community’s need for a hydrotherapy pool has to be front and foremost at the protest planned for March 31. In the weeks since learning of the pool’s fate there’s been a lot of LNP this and Labor that, but if the campaign is to be effective I believe residents have to keep both out of it.

As long as one is attached it will be easier for it to descend into a blame game between the parties, and the community’s need will become nothing more than a political football.

I encourage you to sign the petition and attend the march to make sure those in power understand how badly Childers needs this health facility.

Tell us what you think at matthew.mcinerney@apn.com.au.
