Talented dancers take to the stage
Youngsters impress in first performances on-stage
A CROWD of about 160 people turned out at the Isis Cultural Centre last week to watch some of the best young dancers the region has to offer.
Incandescent Dance Studio’s 42 students took to the stage to perform a 13-number showcase.
The show also featured performances from Brisbane-based group, RAW Dance Company.
Principal Michelle Brumwell was full of praise for her students, and thanked the crowd for supporting some of the Isis district’s youngest and most talented stars.
“We had great community support and they got right into it,” she said.
“Some of our students had never performed on-stage before so they did really well.
“We were very lucky to

have RAW come up.
“That was made possible by an RADF grant which allowed for the workshops. They held their third workshop on the morning of the showcase.”
Incandescent will return after Easter, and Mrs Brumwell hinted more events may be coming up in future.
“Watch this space,” she said.
Mrs Brumwell thanked all sponsors, including Mamminos, Signature Hair, Childers Heritage Gift Shop, and many more.
