Time to take a stand

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Matthew McInerney Reporter matthew.mcinerney@apn.com.au

CHILDERS may take on a very different appearance next Tuesday when residents protest the decision to pull hydrotherapy pool funding.

Participants were asked to write messages on and wave blue balloons, and Lucia Momesso’s suggestion that businesses display blue balloons should only add more weight to the collective voice.

Childers may be a small town, but this region has a big voice, and Tuesday morning may be when we make our loudest noise.

I encourage everyone to get to the Isis Club at 10am to fight for a health facility the town’s people need.

Hopefully together we will make enough noise to hold Brisbane’s attention.
