Animal lover ready to pamper dogs

Isis Town and Country - - Life - By PETRA DE JONG

WHEN you first meet Hannah Broughton, you instantly feel that you can trust this friendly animal lover with your pets and farm animals.

She's for real and puts her heart into the job.

Hannah's Handy Pet Care and Grooming has gone mobile because Hannah has worked hard to create her own job by acquiring skills and equipment.

Hannah makes house calls to wash dogs in a hydro bath with warm water and she carries a professional grooming table for clips.

She covers the Childers area, including Redridge and Apple Tree Creek, and she travels to Biggenden when she can book in a number of dogs on the same day. Most regular clients are washed fortnightly with a choice of shampoos and perfume. The reviews on her Facebook page rate her five stars.

During the school holidays, Hannah keeps extra-busy, caring for animals when people go away. When Hannah finishes Year 12 at Isis State High School, she plans to grow her business into a full-time job.

This Saturday is Pampered Pooch Day at Localicious in Apple Tree Creek, where Hannah will be washing dogs from 9am until 2pm. Bookings recommended. Call Hannah on 0498 972 521.
