Getting down to business

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion - Matthew McInerney Reporter matthew.mcinerney@apn.com.au

OHANA Winery is open, Isis Taxi Service is on the road and Childers Trading Post has welcomed many through the gates already.

Add to the Pip Stop down at Apple Tree Creek, Gin Gin’s first gym Got Active Fitness and Childers Butchery’s new owners Cathy and Jamie Rush, and there is a positive vibe about town.

It is so easy to come across stories of businesses either closing or avoiding regional areas.

The real joy, however, is in seeing and sharing the stories of new businesses opening across the region.

The next two weeks will focus on the centenary of Gallipoli and local Anzacs.
