PBR heroes will be getting up close and personal with fans at Hervey Bay’s Beach House Hotel this Friday night.

The hotel will be holding a meet and greet from 7pm where some of Australia’s champion cowboys will be there to sign autographs and answer questions just 24 hours before the massive PBR Live Series event at Pialba’s Seafront Oval.

Beach House and Carriers Arms Hotel general manager Gary Gilbert said the Beach House would be kicking off the weekend full of fast-paced fun.

“On the Friday night we’re hosting some of the riders from 7pm where people can get their posters signed and a few questions answered,” Mr Gilbert said.

“On Saturday night after the event the band Red Betty will be playing until 1.30 in the morning to keep the party going.”

Mr Gilbert said he didn’t have to think twice before sponsoring the epic PBR bull ride.

“I think it’s a good thing for the area to get some high profile entertainment to the region,” he said.

“It gives people something different to see and bring people into the area for the weekend.

“We’ve sponsored a lot of events but this is the first time I’ve done something like this and I’m excited to say the least.”

Mr Gilbert said this was going to be a great night. “We’ve got world-class athletes coming to do their show here and it can’t get better than that.”

The PBR Live Series will be at Seafront Oval, Pialba this Saturday, May 2. Visit www.eventopia.co or the Town & Country office for tickets.
