Boat ramp gets up­grade

USERS of the Woodgate Boat Ramp are ad­vised that main­te­nance work is sched­uled to start on Mon­day.

Di­vi­sional rep­re­sen­ta­tive Cr Tony Ricciardi said the work was ex­pected to take a week (weather per­mit­ting) and be fin­ished by May 22.

The sched­uled work will in­volve up­graded im­prove­ments to the ramp en­trance, which is on Theodo­lite Creek Dr.

Mo­torists will ex­pe­ri­ence changed traf­fic con­di­tions and ac­cess to the ramp will be closed to all pedes­trian and ve­hic­u­lar traf­fic.

“Bund­aberg Re­gional Coun­cil is aware of the in­con­ve­nience works of this na­ture can cause to com­mu­nity mem­bers and we thank res­i­dents and road users for their pa­tience and co-op­er­a­tion dur­ing the main­te­nance work,” Cr Ricciardi said.
