Wallaroos walloped

A RAMPAGING Brothers outfit put an exclamation mark on the half-way point of the season with a dominant 58-8 win over Wallaroos at Salter Oval.

And after watching his team be torn up by the ladder leader, Wallaroos coach Colin Scott summed up the performance – embarrassing.

There wasn’t an aspect of the game Wallaroos had the upper hand in and after Brothers coach Mat Templeman described the first half as poor, the second period of the game impressed him.

The ball movement was more fluid thanks to Brent Kuskey’s leadership in the middle of the ruck; and with Jake Carl making slicing runs around the field the Wallaroos were lucky the margin wasn’t more.

Wallaroos failed to test Brothers but this week’s opponent – Hervey Bay – will.
