NBN issues

Isis Town and Country - - Opinion -

A BIG problem with an NBN wireless connection is that during a power outage the phone also gets cut. You are not only in the dark, you also have no phone. In areas of poor mobile coverage you have no communications. The reason – the communication box fitted to the premises needs the household power supply to work. My answer to this would be to leave the phone connected to the copper landline, and the internet to the wireless. I have spoken to Telstra regarding this problem, maybe others should do the same. I am yet to receive an answer. P BONNELL
